My Story

Joseph McNamara is the CEO and Co-Founder of Sky Cap Corp, a leader in travel management solutions for medical repatriation, travel assistance, and luxury leisure travel worldwide. Since establishing the company in 2011 with his husband Max, Joseph has built Sky Cap Corp into the only U.S. travel management company dedicated 100% to medical repatriation services, helping over 7,500 travelers in medical emergencies across the globe.

Originally from Massachusetts and now residing in West Palm Beach, Florida, Joseph earned a Bachelor of Science in Hospital Management and a Master of Business Administration from Lynn University in Boca Raton. He is a member of Zeta Beta Tau fraternity and Eta Sigma Delta honor society.

Joseph's career began as a Principal Designated School Official for international students, where he processed F-1 visas for individuals seeking education in America. He then served as Director of Operations for a medical escort company for nearly a decade, gaining invaluable expertise in the complexities of medical travel. During this time, he identified a critical gap in the market: the need for a travel agency entirely dedicated to medical evacuation and repatriation services.

Under Joseph's leadership, Sky Cap Corp has become a trusted partner to travel insurance companies, medical escort firms, air ambulance services, and travel assistance companies around the world. His comprehensive understanding of airline protocols, medical clearance procedures, and IATA regulations for transporting sick or injured passengers enables the company to handle even the most complex medical repatriation cases, from commercial stretcher installations to coordinating international medical escorts.

As a member of Global Travel Collection, Joseph has guided Sky Cap Corp through exponential growth while maintaining the company's commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and compassionate customer care during travelers' most vulnerable moments.
